I'm happy meeting anyone as long as they're decent human beings. Rudeness is one of my buttons... I'm also quite straightforward, and I have no problem telling you if I don't like you. And if I don't tell you I'll make it very clear. :-) Man, I'm making myself to sound like a bitch, aren't I? Oh, well... hehe Seriously, though... I'd like to meet Bernadette Peters... She's AWESOME. Joanna Gleason... Shoshana Bean, Tyne Daley, Meryl Streep, Kevin Kline, etc, etc, etc... I'll spare you the boring details. If you really want to know, which I'm not sure you do, all you have to do is ask me.CHRISTOPHER WALKEN IS AMAZING BECAUSE OF THIS VIDEO (but not only this video) !!!
My music style is pretty eclectic. I listen to everything from rock to oldies. Recently, I've kind of gotten into the Hawaiian stuff like the stuff that Israel Kamakawiwo'ole does. Now, the only stuff that I don't like is rap/hip hop (aka sex music...). Um... Yeah... That's pretty much the only type of music that I absolutely refuse to listen to. Look below to see my crayon color which is actually quite appropo in accordance with my life.

OK... Here goes. Chocolat, anything on which Quentin Tarantino has even so much as sneezed, Back to the Future, Waiting..., Pride & Prejudice (the COLIN FIRTH version!!), Lagaan, Matrix (even though they progressively got worse), Star Wars (only the last 3... aka: the ACTUAL first Star Wars movies), Lord of the Rings, Batman Begins, Equilibrium, The Aviator, Spiderman, Pirates of the Caribbean, All of Me, The Pink Panther (the original!!), The Jerk, Surf Ninjas, Willow, The Land Before Time (only the first one... Once they added songs, I was completely thrown off of that boat.), Fern Gully (hey, don't knock it!), and pretty much anything that Steven Spielberg has had a hand in (two of those being the amazingness I like to call the Goonies and Indiana Jones)... The list goes on."I've found almost everything ever written about love to be true. Shakespeare said 'Journeys end in lovers meeting.' What an extraordinary thought. Personally, I have not experienced anything remotely close to that, but I am more than willing to believe Shakespeare had. I suppose I think about love more than anyone really should. I am constantly amazed by its sheer power to alter and define our lives. It was Shakespeare who also said 'love is blind.' Now that is something I know to be true. For some quite inexplicably, love fades; for others love is simply lost. But then, of course, love can also be found, even if just for the night. And then, there's another kind of love: the cruelest kind. The one that almost kills its victims. Its called unrequited love. Of that I am an expert. Most love stories are about people who fall in love with each other. But what about the rest of us? What about our stories, those of us who fall in love alone? We are the victims of the one sided affair. We are the cursed of the loved ones. We are the unloved ones, the walking wounded. The handicapped without the advantage of a great parking space! Yes, you are looking at one such individual. And I have willingly loved that man for over three miserable years! The absolute worst years of my life! The worst Christmas', the worst Birthday's, New Years Eve's brought in by tears and valium. These years that I have been in love have been the darkest days of my life. All because I've been cursed by being in love with a man who does not and will not love me back. It doesn't matter how many new haircuts you get, or gyms you join, or how many glasses of chardonnay you drink with your girlfriends... you still go to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood, and how in the hell for that brief moment you could think that you were that happy. And sometimes you can even convince yourself that he'll see the light and show up at your door. And after all that, however long all that may be, you'll go somewhere new, and you'll meet people who make you feel worthwhile again. And little peices of your soul will finally come back. And all that fuzzy stuff, those years of your life that you wasted, that will eventually begin to fade."--Kate Winslet; The Holiday
I'm a notorious channel surfer... I tend to frequent channels that play a lot of movies... But I watch the Disney channel from time to time... I know, I know... juvenile. But I have to keep in touch with the kid in me, don't I?? I also like those forensic shows. I like it when they get the bad guy and put him/her in jail. That's always happy. Animal Planet, the History Channel, Comedy Central, TV Land, and so on are some other channels I visit from time to time. Law and Order: SVU is a really good show, too... :) The only TV that I adomantly REFUSE to watch is porn. That is some STUPID stuff... And awfully degrading.OK... Yeah... FANTASTIC.. ..
Now, this is a subject on which I could write a novel (no pun intended). First and foremost is the Bible (and that's not to sound all "holier-than-thou," or anything, I promise.). It really is a VERY good book. Some of the writing styles are a little iffy, but I love what it says. I very much recommend it. I love the classics: "The Count of Monte Cristo" (number 1 favorite EVER!), "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "The 3 Musketeers", "The Man In the Iron Mask", "Lord of the Rings", and so on and so forth... Reading is something that calms me, so I do it a lot. C.S. Lewis, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, and J.R.R. Tolkien are the only men in my life who ever got me into a tizzy about reading. hehe
Heroes... Well, if we were talking about superheroes, I'd have to say Batman and Spiderman... Superman was a bit too infallible for my tastes... I like a hero with some faults. A hero with problems makes me feel a little better about myself. :)If we're talking about real life heroes, I'd have to go with everyone's first pick: the parentals. They've done really well for themselves, and they've gone through a lot of hell to get there. I really respect them for that.
