Anything but country (aka "slit your wrists" music) and stupid, boring, mundane hard-rock, heavy metal & heavy-heavy metal(crazy-noisy-death metal). But my favorite kind of music is TRUE Industrial(pre 1980's) and experimental electronic. The GODFATHERS of Industrial music being TG(Throbbing Gristle) and Cabaret Voltaire. I also love genuine experimental music such as Coil, Chris and Cosey (aka CTI, Carter Tutti, etc.), and Post-punk, new-wave, electro-pop, like Suicide, William S. Burroughs, Fad Gadget, etc. etc.
Drama, science fiction, psychological thrillers gangster/mafia( i.e. Goodfellas, The Godfather movies, Scarface, etc.)and fantasy. My favorite films are usually those of a subversive nature or Independent films.
Prison Break, Lost, South Park, Seinfeld, Simpsons
Anything by William S. Burroughs. And anything in the genre of Beat and Dadaism.
