"House on Haunted Hill" was released back in 1999, as a remake of the old Vincent Price movie. The film told the story of a group of strangers who would win 1 million dollars each from an Amusement Park Tycoon if they stayed the night inside the "Vannicutt Psychiatric Institute for the Criminally Insane". Unfotunately the spirit of Dr. Vannicutt and all of those who died in the deadly fire which originally shut down the institute was still inside the asylum!
Hidden deep within the recesses of the old withered building. Soon the shadow demon entity known as "Vannicutt" would be accidentally freed, and proceeded to feed on the last remaining humans of the group. Once it claimed a victim, that person would become another trapped soul within the massive spectre which was made up of the souls of every nurse and patient who died in the fire, with Dr. Vannicutt being the dominant personality. Now in 2007, Dark Castle will present the sequel to this picture called "Return To House On Haunted Hill". Where a new group of people will encounter the horrors hidden inside the psychiatric institute.
