I'd like to meet:
I've already met my musical and personal hero, Cyndi Lauper. If you don't know anything about her, I can't do her justice in a little blurb. But, just so ya know why she's my hero: She's not only an amazing talent with her vocals and instruments, but she's an amazing soul, too. Not to mention beautiful. And in the middle of making her albums and a home for her family, she finds time to support such groups as Gay Rights and World Hunger. Ever since I can remember, I've been the "weird" girl. I liked to dress in brite colors. I loved crazy hair and make-up. And I loved to sing at the top of my lungs! Along w/ Punky Brewster(Thank God for the 80's!), she taught me that being different is awesome! I grew up listening and watching her VHS Live Shows. I probably went as Cyndi for Halloween 10 yrs in row!!! I then got to see her in concert w/ Cher. I cried the entire time. She's just so powerful. The next summer I actually got to meet her. She came to town w/ Cher again, but I couldn't go. I was working at the Vanderbilt Plaza hotel in the Salon, when someone came and told me that she was going to be doing an inpromtu signing and 4 song performance at Tower Records. I told work "bye", rushed home to get my She's So Unusual album and headed back down. She did 4 songs and then a signing. I stood in line for over 2hrs and when I finally got up there, I could hardly speak. I started crying and she actually came around and hugged me! No-one else was fortunate enough to get a photo w/ her that day, but I had handed my camera to the lady in front of me and she snapped a few of me with Cyndi. They are now proudly on display at my home along with my signed album! Other people I'd like to meet: Bettie Page, Mighty Mouse, U2, Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe, Jimi Hendrix, The President(so I could tell him to Fuck off), and many many others. Just don't have time to list them all.
