espee/Daniel Joseph, Jersey boy commited to making his music. It's hip hop. A little grass roots. A little electric. A little rock. A little of everything. I'm not a "battle" rapper, I'm not a "thug", and I'm definitely not a shiney dude. I think Hip Hop has grown to the point where I can make music for a certain type of person. Who is that type of person? The type that will listen to the music as a whole. Not just the lyrics, not just the beat; The whole song. There's a future of little ones growing up now thinking that the hip hop scene is exactly that, just a scene. It's beyond that. Those of us that grew up in the 80's and early 90's know that it's a culture. That's all. I write. I have things to get off my chest, and I can't sing. So there, I rap. Making music is the best thing money can't buy. It's just about the only thing we have left to be creative with if you think about it. It's all about the ART of it. I use that side of my brain.
