I am here for Friends

About Me

I live in Seattle (by way of VT, by way of RI) *updated 8/1/06* as of July 8th I'm now working as a real estate photographer - wanted to see how the other half lives - HA! Mostly I am here to kibbitz with past co-workers and to regain contact with long lost friends. I'm generally a loving and compassionate person balanced out with a somewhat twisted and sarcastic sense of humor. I do my best to live with integrity - practice what I preach, and don't do a whole lot of preaching. I have more stuffed sheep than you do - guaranteed.

My Interests

Skiing, snowboarding, DJing, camping, hiking, reading, ritual, live music, random acts of riduculousness, sporadic and varied art-making, www.cell-division.org, ancient religions, biking, collecting stuffed sheep, clothing as psychological armor, dressing to impress, travel (mostly armchair traveling at this time until I win the fucking lottery), various sensory pleasures

I'd like to meet:

If your page is primarily about art or music, and I like your work, then I will add you. If you're a friend of mine from real life - as in, that place where you talk to people face to face - then I will add you. If If you're some random joe schmoe, even if you're a friend of a friend, I WILL NOT add you. Got it?

Music:

Rasputina, Steve Roach, Hearts Of Space radio, Tarmvred, Ladytron, Mum, Diagram of Suburban Chaos, old U2, Tuvan throat singing, the Ghost in the Shell soundtrack, Dead Can Dance, The Moors, Cocteau Twins, the Church, Mediaeval Baebes, Ataraxia, Magnetic Fields and the 6ths, Miranda Sex Garden, Faith And the Muse, Judgement of Paris, Low, Boards of Canada, etc. etc. I also appreciate (but do not own much or any) rap, bluegrass, opera, hammered dulcimer music.

Movies:

Goodfellas, The House of Flying Daggers, Spirited Away, Mirrormask (simply for the visuals), City of Lost Children, Ghost in the Shell

Television:

What is this "television" you speak of?

Heroes:

(whatever happened to the heroes?) There are a handful of people I truly admire, but I don't believe in heroes really.
