LENNY have already been on quite a journey...and they're just getting started. When JD Dickerson started the band in 2003, he had a feeling it was going to carry him somewhere. He just wasn't quite sure of the exact destination. "It was your typical high school band in almost every sense. We were average musically, mediocre live, and we had no clue," says Dickerson. "But we had this sense that we could accomplish something. We felt like we had something to say, and that if we stuck with it long enough, someone would listen." The band has marched on for close to 4 years now, and they bare not even the faintest resemblance of the inexperienced band they were close to 4 years ago. LENNY have truly grown into fierce commodity. Having cut their teeth on everything from empty rooms to crowds of thousands, LENNY are ready to make their statement. "I feel like we've really reached a point of readiness," says Dickerson. "We know who we are now, and what our purpose is." With their debut EP
We Are Criminals hitting stores nationwide on March 20th, it looks like somebody will listen...
The band has shared the stage with bands such as Switchfoot, Vendetta Red, Family Force 5, Paramore, Gratitude, I Am the Avalanche, The Spill Canvas, The Class of 98, Staple, and more.
