Everything. If I could dabble in everything, I would, but then I would never succeed at any one thing, so I have to go with the basics for now. I love reading, writing, plays, movies, cooking, music, traveling.
GINGER ROGERS & FRED ASTAIRE
My music taste ranges quite far. In fact, there isn't a particular type of music that I dislike. Within the particular genre, I may dislike certain songs, however, if the mood strike me, I'll listen to Billie Holiday or 2 Pac, or Doris Day to Bach or Prince. From 50 Cent, to Green Day to Madonna or Kenny Rogers. I enjoy music for various reasons, with that being the case, I can't pigeonhole myself to a particular style.
My taste in movies goes along with my taste in music. I can watch a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers marathon, then turn around and watch Scarface. From silent films such as Thief of Baghdad, to classics as Ghost and Mrs. Muir, The Heiress, Magnificent 7, to the Sound of Music and Grease. From films like American Pie, A Bronx Tale, or Pretty Woman, I can watch them all. Older films do peek my interest for the simple fact that the characters had to come to life all on their own. Special affects wasn't a factor and so an actor really had to draw you in.
I pretty much like to read just about everything. There isn't a genre that I can't find myself enjoying. I find that my preference changes constantly. My mood governs the type of book I'll pick up to read.
I look up to myself. Now, it's not conceit that makes me say this. But it's the realization that I have to love, respect and appreciate self first. So daily, I work on improving self into someone I look up to. I AM a God, a creation of the most high and how can I make claims to love him if I can't love and show love to one of his creations..............ME.
