Septic Boiler (Songs Up!)

We like our coffee black just like our metal

About Me

Jonny was raised on black metal and folk metal, adding his own high speed galloping to even the most bleak song, whilst Jakk's thrash based musical drive adds the technical roar to the music with the fast-paced solos and unforgiveably dark riffs. The rhythm section's battery is created by bass player Rob's staggering, chugging, well placed fret fucking and Joe England's blistering double bass drum and heavy-flowing blast beats.Septic Boiler was formed in mid-2006 by Jonny and Jakk. A bass player was also present but was soon changed for Rob. Joe was the next to join and soon the band had begun writing songs. It wasn't until the end of 2006 that a vocalist was added to the band in the form of Mat. This marked the beginning of a creative spurt for all the members...within 3 months the band had enough material to begin booking live shows and had already meshed well as a band and become friends. May 12th 2007 saw the live debut of Septic Boiler at The West in their hometown of Huddersfield..."...this swirling mass of stabbing guitar riffs, efficiently backed up by a more than a competent rhythm section, and vocals clearly trained in the bowels of hell, was well worth seeing and hearing. Superb debut gig..."Quote from www.myspace.com/huddsmusicpressThe beginning of 2007 saw some promising opportunities including support slots with RSJ, Errander, Mishkin and The Raven Theory. The Band have now completed recording 4 tracks (Recorded and Produced by Dan Mullins(Bal-Sagoth, My Dying Bride) and they will be uploaded onto this page as soon as possible.Septic Boiler aims to entertain, and looks forward to doing so many, many, many times over. We've so far had the pleasure of playing alongside:The Raven Theory, Mishkin, Nex, Errander, RSJ, Equinox, The Vendettas, Human Cull, Evisceration, For Death and Tragedy, Solitary Mass, Morkret, Skinless Mannequin, Silent Massacre, Ignore This Fist, Sanzen, Zuprowski Connection, Snow, Box of Lies, The Pretty Machine, Grieve, The Sin

Sounds Like: A Battle within the labotamy of the deepest cravas. As the moon sends its deluding glare upon the trees of the doomed, where not even the wolves come out to hunt in fear of something that seeks their flesh alone, where pustial maggots infest the ground giving the illusion of a moving carpet of death, and adding the vile stench of mangled whores and rotting cattle.
