About Me

Hey y'all ;-) This is Vanessa Lucero and i'm 24 years old. I live with my cat, Dior,on the WC/Lafayette border. I graduated from Northgate High School in 2001. I am a preschool teacher whos days consist of fingerpaint, playdough, and the endless singing of The Alphabet Song. And maybe, if i'm feelig particularly bold, counting to ten. I've learned many things from my job and I do love it. But i'll let you in on a little secret: Teaching preschool really is the best birthcontrol. I took a break from the theatre world and have made my big comeback this past year. I recieved my teaching credentials at DVC and also do freelance make-up artisty in the pageant and modeling industry. I have a great life, but it is crazy busy. If i'm not teaching,rehearsing for a show,going to school, babysitting, giving pageant or singing lessons,cruising around in my pimped-out Juicy Sebring convertible, going to clubs with my girls, directing a children's show, competing in pageant or judging a pageant,I'm shopping for Juicy...or Dior. My Interests

Well.... I'll start this section off with a question... Have you ever seen American Idol? Well then, maybe you remember me:) LOL....I was lucky to appear on the show for two seasons. The highlight of my stint was being on the Jay Leno show, being interviewd by Ryan Seacrest ( He wore even more makeup than I did! lol) So i'd have to say my number one interest is singing. I sing everything: pop, jazz, broadway, country, and opera. I love to compete as well and am well-known on the pageant circut. I've competed in pageant since I was a young girl and now I coach girls in all aspects of pageantry: modeling, pro-am, interview and talent. I've held National and State titles with Universal Miss, Crowning Moments, Gingerbread, USA World, Magical Dream World, Darling Dolls of America, CA NES, CA Total Miss,Golden Carousel, Glamour Stars, Royalty Miss, ect. I'm also a pageant judge and MC/entertainer.

I'd like to meet:

Right at this moment, I am single, however I am certainly on the prowl for my Prince Charming. I am interested in the type of guy who makes me laugh, is sweet and charming, wants to spend time with me (even if it's something trivial like going grocery shopping.) Someone who enjoys my company and makes me feel beautiful even when I have no make-up on and im totally scrubbed-out.I think being in love is the best feeling in the world. I would love to share that with someone eventually.
