About Me

My name is Emily, and I live in Binghamton, New York. I am a recent graduate from Binghamton University with a Bachelor's degree in English & Global Culture Studies, and am currently a Certified Nursing Assistant at United Health Service's Ideal Senior Living Center. I am also having a blast being a Lia Sophia Advisor; I love jewelry, I get excellent incentives for selling the jewelry and get to go out a night or two a week to show of my collection to other women in the area, meet new people, meet up with old friends and have a great time doing it all!Adam and I have been together for over 3 years now; everyday presents a new challenge, a new discovery, and a closer connection. We share much love, compassion and understanding; I am truly blessed. He is everything I need in a man and nothing less! He received his electrical engineering degree from BU in 2006, and he currently works in the internet marketing field. We are enjoying the changing leaves, working outside, remodeling our home, spending time with our 6 month old kitten, Lucy, and planning our June 6th, 2009 wedding!*~*Emily*~*

My Interests

Traveling, jewelry, cooking (I'm better at it than I used to be) :) I also enjoy going to baseball and hockey games. Long walks, tennis, reading and crocheting are also interests of mine.

Music:

I am a country girl at heart (particularly fond of Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift). I like most music, with the exceptions of rap, hip-hop, and really old country music. I love the sound of country and Christmas music from a vinyl record :P

Movies:

"101 Dalmations" was my childhood favorite..... The "Pirates of the Carribean" movies were awsome, "Transformers" was surprisingly intriguing to me ... I want to see "The Notebook" next..... I don't really care for gruesome movies, but I'm not always in the mood for a chick flick either :)

Television:

Rachael Ray is my kitchen inspiration .... If you haven't watched "Rescue Me" you don't know what you're missing .... I like to catch whats going on on the Weather Channel and the local news at least by 6, but on my days off I enjoy catching "Dr. Phil", as well as the CBS soaps when I visit my aunt at the nursing home :) I like to catch a hockey game when I can, and occasionally after church on Sundays I will watch a NASCAR race.

Books:

Chicken Soup for the Soul books, realistic novels, you know. :)
