About Me
My name's Gina. I'm 18 years old, currently living in East London. However, I was born and bred in Holloway which I loved. I was mainly brought up with my gran, and on weekends my mother would always take me 2 performing arts schools, which I had been attending since the age of five, so I could build up my confidence and hopefully get into the acting industry. I attended great drama schools such as Sylvia Young, Stage Coach, Anna Scher and the Precint Theatre which my mums good friend Rima Baker owns (aka) 'Break A Leg Management'.After attending many drama schools for years, I later found that I wasn't passionate about acting. Even though I was fortunate enough to take up lead roles for a couple of televison shows for the BBC and mixing with channel 4 producers which I am extremly grateful for. I began to feel a lack of motivation within this industry however, still eager to explore more of my talents.However, being asked to appear in a couple of music videos for MTV was a great experience! getting to know new people and seeing yourself on televison doing something other than acting was great. It's something which I enjoyed, however with my mums support I was scouted by a modelling agency who seemed keen and got me into a couple of photoshoots and various jobs, soon i'll be doing promotional work yaay lol :)Growing up, I was told I had a great voice, a rather soulful.. Beyonce mixed with Angie stone, old fashioned Americanised toneful voice! I didn't take much notice untill a month before turning 15 I was noticed by an American producer who became interested in my talent, who was keen on my whole package as I could sing dance and act and showed great confidence in everything I did. I started singing in studios and writting my own songs myself which lead to other producers and managers who became fond of me. Since getting involved in this industry I have come across alot of fake conn artists and a lot of perverts.I admit its a dog eat dog world out there, and such a tough industry to get into the music biz but forgetting all the wrong people I've met and things I've been through I'm still not going to give up as i feel why put my talent to waste. I can sing, dance, act, have the confidence to do anything! Im a strong ambitious person filled with a lot of motivation knowing I will go far in this world. I have the whole package and the talent to show the world what ive got!WATCH OUT!Intentially I created this myspace because my old manager told me to create one to get established, (not knowing my friends and other viewers would find me... so this is just a temporary myspace!) however most of my tracks are unfinished....
