I’m more the era of Slick Rick, Kane, Kool G Rap, Das EFX and before - we’re talking Dj Cheese, Dj Chuck Chillout, Tla Rock, Audio 2 to the obsecure like Bg Knocck out and Dresta, Mad Skillz (I’ve lost you haven t I stick with Biggie Jay Z and Nelly lol and the rest of that wack crap)
I was also more on the New Jack Swing tip as a lot of peeps on here know … probably the first man in UK to drop cross colors, s’curl and the bottle of champs . If you were there back in the day, what is now know as the ‘Golden years’ lol, the days of Jodeci, Guy, Today, Basic Black Christopher Williams etc, raving at Iceni, Samanthas, Slap Harry’s, Circa, Maximus, Podium, Porkies, Earls, Boogie Bunch and Rampage ’92, Wag, Starlight, Tudor Rose. Even outside London ... Belfry, Coconut Derby, Forum Wales, those were the daaaaaayys !! You will know the UK was on par with the ATL back in the day or maybe better. Blah, UK's all wack now ... Its all about 70's disco talking the real underground disco funk ... Bar Kays, Brass Construction, Slave, Con-Funk-Shun .. you can catch me in all those bars there that play these tunes also feeling soulful house (always loved my house, have all the classic 12" from late 80's,early 90's. Secondly its like everyone on here is a rapper, producer, singer, agent, make up artist, probation officer to that studio gangster lol. I'm talking about the people that think their name is in stars here (not the individual with good intention and talent) - A) you’re not a rapper, singer etc unless I seen you in the shop window so stop going on like sold 4003943834830 million records because you haven’t lol and B) I have met in the ATL that have sold millions that carry on humble so sit your ass down and get back to keeping up on the repayments on your car and get back to keeping the street corners warm lol .
