Mainly I love drawing and I'm lucky enough to get paid to do it. I also like car boot sales, charity shops, hunting for old 50s and 60s childrens books, taking computers to bits , looking for illustrations in old magazines, boating holidays, making and recording my own music late at night (while drinking real ale), running round finsbury park, walking through Clissold Park, London,The Cellar Upstairs Folk Club, imagining the lives my ancestors led. Ghostly Victorian painted adverts on the side of buildings. Some of favorite artists are: peter blake, daniel clowes, chris ware, seth, barry mcgee, stanley spencer, carel weight, keith haring, Jim Flora, Mary Blair, pete fowler ect,ect.

I like my music wonky and lopsided,on the whole I don't like angular music. I like traditional english song and folk. Music recorded in bedrooms, glitchy electronics like fridge and mum, lots of ambient electronics but nothing too slick, old time country, 60s country, the sound track to the wickerman, the zombies, the kinks, incredible string band, english pastoral psychedelic music, hank williams, old american folk music,the copper family, Shirley Collins.
