SHAQUAN AMANI AKA THE POISONOUS STING: I've been writing and producing music since 1987. HipHop was and always will be a passion of mine. I guess I can say different things inspired and influenced my musical aspriations. I played brass instruments in the concert and marching band, during those High School years. I have relatives and friends who are or were musicians.But all in all I love music. Not just HipHop, but different kinds of music. That kind that takes you back to a point in your life. That's that good ISH!!!
I've always been a fiend for the mic. I'm a Emcee first and producer second. My music has messages about life, spirituality, realtionships, and this crumbling Music Industry. I'm part of a dying breed, which all true HipHop fans are. We are the ones still breathing LIFE into it.
Although music evolves, I'm able to conform with the times, but I'll always stay true to what I've always been doing, real music!- THE STING
