Still missing a few cards from the deck

About Me

Borderline geezer, married twice, divorced twice (terminally optimistic), executive-type (but don't want to think about work, here), still don't know what I wanna be when I grow up.

My Interests

Long bicycle trips, history, computers - especially CGI graphics (frustrated artist), discovering new music, sci-fi (omigod, heezageek!)......oh, yeah, and playing with HTML to change MySpace (I have GOT to get a life!)

I'd like to meet:

A generous benefactor ;-)Seriously - I enjoy meeting bright, imaginative, articulate people with a passion for life or a talent for the unique. (...and if they like to go bike riding...)

Music:

So far this year: Fall Out Boys, Killers, Green Day, Lifehouse, Papa Roach, All-American Rejects, Matafix, Bob Sinclar, Fort Minor, Sugarcult, My Chemical Romance, Imogen Heap... It changes with my mood, but basically anything that doesn't twang, isn't violent, and was not sung by Paris Hilton.

Movies:

Forget the rest! I've seen "300"! Great movie! (Now if I could just look like those guys...)

Television:

Sort of lost interest in TV. The only show I go out of my way to catch is "Rome" on HBO

Books:

Pretty much whatever I'm reading at the time. I go through a lot of books, usually fiction.

Heroes:

My Dad and his Dad

My Blog

A Joke (fairly tame one)

PantsJack was going to be married to Jill, so his father sat him down for a little fireside chat.He says, "Jack, let me tell you something. On my wedding night in our honeymoon suite, I took off my pa...

Who are all these people talkin' to me?

I'm just curious: aside from the fact that most of us guys were endowed with two brains, and tend to react using the lower brain, is there some mass epidemic of stupidity for middle-aged men that...

The Secret to Happiness

You probably already know what it is.  You must have heard it said before.  Maybe you weren't listening.  Or, like me, you found that it's a lot harder to pull off in real life.  T...
