Kon-Vert (Convert) meaning to change something’s character, form or function. Briefly I will share with all the metaphor of this concept and how it greatly applies to my life and all that have been truly converted. For about 9 years God has had His hand on my life, purging me, grooming, protecting me, and showing me, His great Glory and truths of Himself and His son the person of Jesus Christ. But only up until the last 3 ½ of those years can I say that I was truly converted at heart and mind and spirit (His spirit of course). For many of us were raised in a westernized Christianity were our confidence rested more on the coming down to the altar and pronouncing a prayer of faith unto Christ (rather than a heart of repentance and genuine faith in Christ) but never have a real conversion of the heart, as to see Gods power of salvation at work in our life. Rather we will all say that we were saved that day when we said that prayer, now for some that moment may have been true, but for me and also for others I have seen and statistics show, that prayer did not save anyone. The heart issue and the issue of sin itself in view of how God sees it and judges it was not revealed neither exposed nor taught. The reality of God and His saving Grace and power has been left up to a few things to check in a 5min conversation and POOF! You’re saved. I became a victim of this religious culture and its views and customs, following the Jesus of this world rather the biblical Christ who saves. As many will deny their claim of how and when they were truly converted in examining their hearts and life, it will be those who Kon-Vert that will be able to share Gods heart in light of this matter. (2 Cor. 5:17 & 2 Cor. 13:5, Titus 2:11-14)
