Travel...travel..travel. The world gets smaller with each new adventure. I can't seem to stay out of HotLanta, Toronto and DC though, and South Beach is fast becoming a new stomping ground! I might be one of few people on earth who enjoys airports! I also enjoy experiencing new restaurants: new menus, discovering that next excellent 'new' wine accompaniment...and I'll add that I'm a seafood lover. I really enjoy live jazz concerts & jazz festivals, as well as the ambience and intimacy of small jazz clubs. The smaller, and darker, the better! I can also appreciate the eclectic atmosphere of the old style coffee shops. LOL, I'm ready (3rd update: finished my instructional class and I'm on it!!!) to step up my tennis game after being away from it for 30 years. Now I can travel with a tennis racket! I will often frequent networking events, and numerous social gatherings ...even though I'd be considered to be a somewhat reserved person, and I'm smiling while I admit that I've gotten used to the ever present 'laid back' description, I really like being around people! Also, although my approach to photography in my work in the corporate arena is rather structured, I still have an avid eye and love for creative photography, the arts and culture.....an appreciation for beautiful things!

Man, I just got turned onto a whole slew of New York musicians who are out of sight..can't even list them all here BUT they are bad. Check some of them out as I alternate the rotation on my front page. Got to mention a few though, like vocalist Karen Francis, Ron Blake, the David Weiss Sextet, Shamie Royston, and James Zollar...Whheeww...also keepin' an ear on bassist Michael K. Hawkins...Nice!!! I've also got a new affection for the music of Corinne Bailey Rae, and there's a special place in my heart for both Gospel and Reggae music w/ much love and respect for the one and only Steel Pulse, as well as Third Eye Reggae Band and Black Uhuru (R.I.P.)
