Van Diemen is an exciting and refreshing Synth-Rock four piece.
Van Diemen's founding members are identical twins Robbie and Clint Elliott.
From a young age have been performing at various events in Tasmania; Eisteddfods, Council Festivals, Leavers dinners, Pubs and Cafes; appealing to all ages with a selection of well crafted songs.
The twins were members of critically acclaimed band 'The Uprising' which was a finalist in the National Youth Week Rockit competition in 2005. The band also supported bands such as Gerling and Antiskeptic in Tasmania, but sadly parted ways when the boys finished school.
Robbie wrote all the songs for the band and was the Tasmanian Young Songwriter of the Year in 2005.
With the edition of Luke Mulligan on bass and Jamon Dingemanse on drum kit, there is no stopping these "terrible twins".Three members of the band are currently based in Tasmania, Australia.In January Jamon and Robbie will be joining Clint in Sydney for some shows!
