KC Rock, Metal & Hardcore Throwdown in the Boondocks

About Me

ALL AGES FIELD SHOW FOR THE NORTHLAND
PLEASE NOTE that the bands and people linked off this account, although are on our friend's list, the content, religious views, or other potenially offensive material that may or may not be therein contained, does not reflect the views of the Mosh on the Meadow event planners or organizers. This is a very well intended religiously and racially nuetral festival. Please do not associate anything potentially offensive linked from a third party's page from this page with the actual event.
On a specific note, the band, "The Messiah Complex"'s name bears no religious meaning either blasphemous or praising what-so-ever. Although the members are all Christian, it is not touched on lyrically or in any other reguard - it is merely a band name. To quote the band, "It just sounded cool".
Please RVSP to this rare event by clicking here!
We've always wanted to bring the sounds of Kansas City to the northland, and now we're finally doing it. We know up north there's not much to do, so we hope this show will go over big and we can come back next year or sooner!
Please help us make this show a success by telling everyone you know and attending!
The field is located just south of downtown Excelsior Springs @ "NE 124th St. & Ray County Line Rd." Typing that exact intersection into Mapquest.com will get you there. Please consult the flyer below and the PICS section for more info on directions. We will also be posting signs along the way to guide you!
We are still in need of:
Lighting: Nevermind, we've got lighting now!
Security Staff: Nevermind, Kansas City Patrol, LLC and our volunteer Security are on the job!
Parking Attendants: We need people to make sure everyone is paying and directing the traffic along Orrick Rd.
Food Donations: We're expecting well over 200 people so any food items anyone's willing to donate to keep people fed and keep them from leaving would be greatly appreciated. Same applies to water, gatorade, and soda.
If you, or anyone you know would be willing to help with any of these things, or you'd be willing to pull security or parking duty with us, please call 816.863.4028 and leave a message with your name and number.
We'll be BBQing most of the event too, with some luck, so bring out any food you'd like to get cooked.
Also, this is an ALL AGES event (obviously), but NO underage drinking or illegal substances will or can be tolerated. It means the difference between having a great, unforgettable show, or a having a great, unforgettable show shut down by the cops because someone had to break the rules and totally ruin it for everyone else. If a minor is caught drinking or a 21 + guest is caught giving alcohol to a minor, they will be removed, no questions asked!!Also, NO GLASS CONTAINERS allowed on the field. Please take note of this because you'll have to drink or throw away any beverages in glass containers before entering. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but this is someone's farm land, and we can't have broken bottles laying around.
No free re-entry w/o a pass. $7.00 admission. Starts at 7pm and runs until midnight.
