Nine Inch Nails

This is a site for fans of Nine Inch Nails! Band members: Trent Reznor, Jeordie White, Aaron North, Alessandro Cortini, Josh Freese,past members: Jerome Dillon, Alex Carapetis, Robin Finck, Danny Lohner, Charlie Clouser, Chris Vrenna, James Woolley Richard Patrick, Jeff Ward, Lee MarsNIN started in 1987 by Trent Reznor. He worked as a janitor so he could make money to record his songs that would become his first album. His first tour was w/ Skinny Puppy in 1988 before Pretty Hate Machine was released. Pretty Hate Machine was released in 1989 but not alot of people cared, not even the media but when NIN started touring they got some fame in 1990 and then stole the show @ the 1991 Lollapolooza Festival! NIN released an EP titled "Broken" in 1992 the albums single "Wish" was up for a Grammy nomination. Trent said that it unbelievable for that to happen because he made the songs not to fit in pop culture. NIN released "The Downward Spiral" in 1994 this would be NIN's claim to fame w/ the hit song "Closer" and "Hurt" NIN started becoming in icon for its style and era! NIN toured exstively throught 1994.95, and 96 most notable the Dissonamce tour w/ David Bowie. NIN released another hit in 1997 called "The Perfect Drug" for the David Lynch movie and soundtrack Lost Highway. NIN took a long 5 year break before releasing their 3rd album 1999's "The Fragile"! The double disc was selling out like crazy but without any great promotion NIN's label really did not support it in the end so the album looked like a failure. After the tour Trent Reznor ran into drug use problems that lead to no writing for a new album! Fans were lost w/ NIN but 6 years following "The Fragile" Trent cleaned up and traded drugs for working out!!! NIN Released their forth album "With Teeth" in 2005 and it was hit and w/ the help of its hit single "The Hand That Feeds" NIN was back for more and more popular than ever selling out shows throughtout the 2005-2006 tours! Trent now sats he is thinking about releasing a solo album and says a new NIN album is right around the corner!!!I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
