The Shrink

The Shrink was formed in June of 2006 by Phillip MacDonald and Evan Coffey. Eventually Ashley Banks and Corey Swank were recruited, and they began writing songs together. Initially they cut their teeth playing free shows at a picnic shelter in Cary, but quickly they branched out and began headlining at several of the local venues. In late February, they decided to part ways with Phillip MacDonald. Continuing on for several more months, the remaining members decided to disband The Shrink for various reasons, such as conflicting schedules. Thanks to everyone who came out to our shows, enjoyed our music, or offered any support.
