Personal Trainer
Group Fitness Instructor:Orginally from the Bronx,NY..My life long dream is to become an established filmmaker in hollywood. My dream was to become SPIKE LEE JR..While attending the High School of Art and Design, I followed my passion of film and made three short films all the while working as an intern for Warrington Hudlin at BFF (Black Filmmaker Foundation). There I made tremendous contacts which lead me to a job working as a editing intern for Spike Lee on Get On the Bus...Life got in the way and distracted me from my passon of film to work for HBO for 6 yrs.The best thing about that place was it allowed me to go to film school( School of Visual Arts) where I honed my skill...Stuck in a dead end job, I decided to pursue a career in FITNESS.Growing up in the late 70's and 80's, I always admired the physics of STALLONE, SCHWARTZENEGGER, BRUCE LEE and VAN DAMME. Wondered how I would ever get to that level. So I started lifting weights at 15yrs old (the dinner chairs..lol)..then my Dad brought my first set of weights and I started working out at age 16yrs old. and havent stopped since..I then became a group fitness instructor. That led me to take up boxing full time.But it channeled my anger the wrong way..So I began taking martial arts. Wing Chun Kung Fu (Introduced to me by Demetries Anglo) was the style suited best for me. I then started training under SIFU MARUICE LLEWYTON at Fighthouse for 3 yrs until he left for LA..Then at the Iron Ring tryout I met the best trainer I've ever encounter, SIFU RAHSUN...His training has impoved my skills to such higher levels..in just the past 1 in a half!! I've also done some cross training with some friends of mine, shotokan karate with Sensei Bobby Wallace, Vee-Jitisu with Sensei MO and Muay Thai with Gleasons Gym.Competed in professional bodybuilding ..Wining 1st place in two local shows and 5th place at the NPC finals as middleweight.2002 I directed a short film called, BIG WES..It was a comedy and was featured in numerous festivals.
