The name is Zabini. Blaise Zabini, but of course you know that. I am a Pureblood, and a proud Slytherin. My mother is Rose Zabini and she is known for her great beauty; my father is Magnus Zabini and he owns valuable properties around the world. Don't, however, stereotype me for I am a Slytherin of charm, wit, and good looks to match. My father was a mere shadow in my upbringing; he only supported my education by parts. My mother had more then enough of a family fortune to not need him. My famiy was alway close to the Malfoys and the Notts as well as other pure blooded families in their circle. Draco and Nott were my first real friends. My mother made sure I was taken care of, but never actually bothered to become close to me. Not that it ever bothered me, I was glad doing what I pleased through out my youth.
In my search for power I came across many books with the question: "Is good more powerful then evil?" Never once could I come up with an answer or a justification of each one’s allure, but did manage to understand the power and reason behind each. Good was pure, singe handedly hope inspiring, and powerful; Evil was raw, powerful effective, and even pleasurable. Leaving out a firm decision I decided to continue my explorations. I did how ever manage to figure out my father was a death eater before coming to school, and in doing so found a new door open before me. My desire for power had woken, my passion for purity had risen and the allure of the dark arts I had heard so much about had peaked inside me. The year of my 11th Birthday I received my letter to Hogwarts. I decided that in order to get what I wanted at the school, I needed an upper hand. The entire summer before going to Hogwarts I practiced leglimency and occlumency with my uncle, my father's brother had a passion for the craft that I now posses. In my spare time I roamed the house's private library, where my father unaware of my knowing kept hid much of his information, which I used for my own personal education.
When I came to Hogwarts, it wasn’t a surprise to find Theo and Draco in Slytherin as well. Theo became my closest friend, and a person I could really trust. As the years passed I became content with being a part of the popular Slytherin clique where I became better acquainted with Draco. A reputation that suited me grew around me, and I am now well known. You don't want to cross me in a game of Quidditch or bump into me by accident in the hallway. Revenge is sweet and one of my favorite pass times. "What goes around, comes around" I always say. I devote my time at Hogwarts to what any self-respecting Slytherin would, attaining more power. In my time here I have explored parts of this castle untouched for years, and to this day it does not cease to surprise me on a daily basis. I do wish to teach at the school and continue to find the many secrets it holds for us. I do have a desire to prove myself, or rather prove others less, and an insatiable thirst for knowledge and will do anything to do so and gain it. When I’m not making others do my homework, I spend my time practicing any advanced curse, hex, jinx or spell that might cross my path. I value spells as the corner stone of magic and its theory. Spell Making has intrigued me for long. The enhancing and perfecting of spells is such a masterful craft, that I wish to pursue some day.
After careful study of the Dark Arts as well as advanced spells, I choose that my father had been right in something and that was to associate with men like Lucius and Voldemort himself. So soon after my fifth year I contacted Lucius and asked him to tutor me and teach me the ways to the Dark Lord. This is how I came to better learn the dark arts and prepare myself for the war that was brewing outside the school.
