About Me

I'm 39 years old and I'm in Iraq. I also did a tour in Afghanistan. (It's nicer in Iraq; we have flush toilets here!) I will say that for the most part, it's pretty boring here. I think that most people have the perception that there's always somebody shooting at us or something exploding, but that's really the exception.

My Interests

Doing bad things to bad people, PT, driving, gunning, TC-ing, fixing things, breaking things, jumping out of things, building pallets, breaking-down pallets, drinking, carousing, and spending the tax-payers money.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet my wife and kids again. I will if Haji doesn't blow me up or I don't get shot by some 18 year old PFC.

Movies:

The Green Berets, Fight Club, All the Star Wars series (even the horrendous "Episode I"), Gladiator, Pale Rider, Unforgiven, The Big Lebowski, Way of The Gun, The Matrix, Animal House, Super Troopers, Snatch, Army of Darkness, The Last of The Mohicans, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Jeremiah Johnson, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, Guns of Navarone, Ronin, The Great Escape, Napoleon Dynamite, Hoodwinked, Repo Man, Yellowbeard, Outlaw Josey Wales, United 93.

Television:

The Simpsons, Family Guy, 24, X-Files, My Name Is Earl, Band of Brothers, Office Space. Everything else pretty much sucks. I don't miss TV.

Books:

Mostly non-fiction like: Unrepentant Sinner, The Phantom Warrior, nad all of LTC Dave Grossman's books. I do like classic fiction like The Last of The Mohicans, The Pathfinder, and Steven King's novels.

Heroes:

I'll meet them in Valhalla someday.
