David Lopez (Born David Santiago Lopez August 8th 1982) is a Colombian Sound Engineer songwriter and producer Known as Lopez Lopez. He got involved in the music business at the early age of 15 he founded with his childhood friends a Rap group called “La Mob” writing and producing various songs including the song called “Violencia” which deals with the dramatic situation of his country Colombia, this song was played in Colombian Rap stations during 2 months having an impressive embrace by the Colombian public. La Mob participated in one of the biggest rap festivals of Latin America Called “Rap al Parque”. After graduating High school he decided to apply to the Ontario Institute of Art and Technology (London, Ontario) and was accepted into the Sound Engineer and music business program and graduated with honors in the year of 2001. Right after his graduation he began his internship in a Miami Beach Recording Studio called DigiNote, He worked for a year until he met Rudy Perez an American songwriter and producer and began working for him from the year 2002. To the day He has participated in the recording of more than 65 musical productions of a diverse artists.In 2006 he launched his own production company “LOPEZ LOPEZ MUSIC INC. Witch has produced 5 different albums and going for a variety of international Artist including: Paper Treson,(USA),Marilo(ARGENTINA), Don Juaco (COLOMBIA), El Flow (Venezuela) Andres Cuervo (Colombia ) Junnier y Sammy (Colombia )….just to name a Few .On 2006 Univision Music Publishing signed Lopez with a non-exclusive publishing deal.
