Things I love:
Driving (especially at night), burning CDs, catching the smell of someone else using a sharpie , trains, abandoned railroad tracks, trains that take things to scary old buildings ( example ), train yards, train stations, telling people about the Mexican flag, quoting movies and people looking at me with a clueless face, driving by places and telling Sarah the same stories as if I've never told them before, Ebay, fresh juicing, listening to a thunderstorm from the safety of my home or car, the smell of sun-tan lotion, challenging Sarah to Jeopardy everynight @ 6:30pm, my mother's cooking, cleaning the kitchen as long as I can listen to Launchcast , Lipton Onion-Soup Mix, Monica Woods' 7-day forecast, La Virgen De Guadalupe , Durga , paper towels, sugar cookies with frosting, cherry kid's shampoo, elbow grease, candles, craigslist, watching my eye twitch in a mirror, trying to keep telemarketers on the phone as long as I can, polar bear webcams , listening to the 9th symphony while driving to work, orange creamsicles, cheesecake LPs, calling groups of people "rabble" or "chusma", the chemistry between Taina Hernandez and whoever she anchors with (they keep quitting), driving while chewing gum with my arm out the window listening to "American Woman" by The Guess Who, MOOG synthesizers, the current democratic majority in the house (we needed checks and balances).
Things I hate:
The smell of the work breakroom after someone cooks something really nasty in the microwave, Friends , the smell of burnt popcorn, chicks with hella make-up, insects with striped bodies ( example ), singers who sing through their noses (The Get Up Kids don't count Sarah), signs that say "tracks no longer in service", cheesy train memorabilia, KCRA 3 , hate-filled Christians , smelly kitchen sponges, giant S.U.V.'s like the H2 or Excursion, giant lifted trucks (Toyotas are OK), Jesus Fish (and the Darwin Fish too), tuna fish, candles that don't burn all the way down, people that are obsessed with cartoon characters (Goku doesn't count Sarah), bear hunters, Dr. Phil, meatloaf (the food), Sony ear-phones , Ann Coulter , whenever Sarah is away, when people who don't approve my comments, Rob, Arnie & Dawn , Rosie O'Donnell, sticky residue from labels on my CDs or video games, when people clap to music at concerts, any food with the word salad in the name including but not limited to the following: chicken salad, tuna salad, green salad, fruit salad, ceasar salad.
