About Me

Hugo Rivera , is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, and Computer Engineer graduate from the University of South Florida. Hugo is CEO/President of HRFit.net , an informational, free fitness and nutrition website and guide for Bodybuilding.About.com , an About.com web site owned by the New York Times Company whose goal is to help beginners start a safe and healthy weight-lifting program, choose the right gear for their needs, and offer motivation to help users meet their personal goals. He is also a nationally-known best-selling author of over 8 books on bodybuilding, weight loss and fitness, including "The Body Sculpting Bible for Men", "The Body Sculpting Bible for Women", "The Hardgainer's Bodybuilding Handbook", and his successful, self published e-book, " Body Re-Engineering ".
Hugo is also a national level natural bodybuilding champion holding the NPC 2001 Typhoon Bay statewide title, a 4th place at the national level NPC Team Universe, a 1st place at the NPC Southern States (welterweight) and a 4th in the NPC USA. He also continues to publish several articles on the subject of health and nutrition in several magazines, such a Natural Muscle , and popular web sites like Bodybuilding.com and DaveDraper.com . Hugo also appears on many radio talk shows, local and national TV and is sponsored by Labrada Nutrition .
