An independant musicproduction entity developed by Alabama native
With a background in Mass Communication, and
Television and Radio Production; Shadow’s first love hasalways been music.
Although he has been writing and creating mixxes since hewas a child, Shadow was commissioned 2 do his firstofficial song for the division IV chapter of ’The NationalAssociation Of Black Journalists’.
The song was called "Journlyzts In The Hood".
The music mixx was composed by Shadow using samplesfrom songs, ’Daddy’s Little Girl’ by Nikki D, ’Tom’s Diner’by Susan Vega, and ’Walk This Way’ by RUN DMC.
Shadow soon after created a Jazz Re-mixx Version called"Journlyzts Jazz" using an original piece by Jazz legendRamsey Lewis. The songs sparked national attention and were hits withjournalists worldwide.
It was then that Shadow knew he wanted to actuallyproduce songs rather than being a radio personalityplaying them.
As time went by he was able 2 invest in a little recordingequipment and create the kind of music that he alwayswanted to.
Shadow’s work roster reads like a who’s who of localtalent.

Taking on any anyone with a notebook full of song ideas,Shadow began creating and developing a style whichquickly spread through the community like wildfire.
Word of mouth being the powerful tool that it is, putShadow in a position 2 meet and work with budding artistsall over the south who needed beats.
Aside from producing, Shadow also managed several ofyoung artists who never had the opportunity 2 perform livebefore.
Though management wasn't in his original plans.
Shadow felt that these young people needed someexposure so he secured several gigs for them, whichincluded a television show called 'Express City T.V.' andthe renown 'Heritage Festival'.
One such group was rap duo, ’Double Empact’.
(Shadow’s brother Mello, and fellow partner Tremaine)
They wrote a song called "Stop The Violence".
Shadow composed the music and again. another songsparked attention that he had not anticipated.
Shadow has always taken the time to do whatever he couldfor young talent because there was time when he seekedartistic guidance and had doors closed in his face.
Vowing to never be that way, Shadow was blessed with theopportunity 2 help others and accepted it without question.
This is a rather condensed version of some of Shadow’sbackground, as they say,...'the rest is history'.
His legendary musical past is best represented by the manysongs that he has produced,
and the artists he has worked with.
