PAN TAU was founded in December 2006. The band started with small spontaneous jam sessions, but soon the project emerged to a real band with a concrete aim, establishing the name PAN TAU in the music scene by performing as many good concerts as possible.
Emerging from different backgrounds with a long music experience, the four members want to prove that ingenious music is simple music.
The accentuated voice accompanied by dry, fat bass-guitar-tones, clear guitar chords and a precise rhythm section are the real ingredients of a rock band. PAN TAU wants to keep the simplicity and the pure sound of the instruments and preserve the right feeling of an alternative-indie-rock band. The structure of the songs is kept simple but performed live, on stage, they are of an unforgettable power.
In May 2008 Paul Hoffmann joined the band, so that PAN TAU's sound is even more powerful and present on stage.
In the last months the band performed on stages such like "Rock Um Knuedler" (big, well known festival in Luxembourg), Rockhal, Den Atelier, shared the stage with Good Charlotte and entered the top ten of the "Luxembourg's Next Radiostar" contest with the song "Too Late".
