Makeshift

During the summer of 2004, Morten Nissen decided to form Makeshift. He had some songs that didn't suit the style of his other band Mudcrowd.The songs kept coming, and at some point, Morten decided that it was time to take Makeshift a bit further. At this point Mikkel Schack was contacted.Mikkel Schack has played in the Esbjerg-band Limf, who, unfortunately split up a year ago. Mikkel Schack has the skills and experience as a musician, as he has played Roskilde Festival, Midtfyns Festival, Spot festival amongst others with his former band Limf.Morten Nissen contacted Mikkel Schack in order to ask him whether he was interested in contributing to the Makeshift songs. Luckily he found the songs interesting, and accepted to work with Morten in Makeshift.The idea of Makeshift is to make good music. It can be melodic, hard or in-your-face, it doesn't matter. As long as it sounds good and fits the style of rock, the songs will do. Makeshift don't seek the sound of something special, but is mainly what comes out of Morten Nissen when he writes songs.
