Meteorology, weather, storm chasing, nature, astronomy, astrophysics, music, sports, football, basketball, golf, baseball, running, healthy living
I'm on MySpace to make new friends, catch up with old ones, former classmates, co-workers (former and current), astronomers, astrophysicists, other meteorologists, storm chasers, weather enthusiasts and those who work in the optical industry.
Alternative/Indie (not only do I easily get tired of commercial radio, it's kinda cool to listen to certain music before it becomes hot), Classic Rock, 80's, New wave, Classical, and electronic (mainly trance and space music). Oh, and a lil' bit of Hip-hop & Country (if it's musical and not just rednecks whining or about putting a boot in someone's a$$). Want specifics? Check the friends list, and my playlist below!
Comedies, some Drama (not chick flicks so much, well maybe if you can be convincing enough, if you catch my drift...but mainly stuff like Forrest Gump and Remember the Titans), Action, Horror and Sci-Fi.
Smallville and Scrubs are my 2 absolute favorite shows, but I rarely get to watch them when they're on. I also like Big Bang Theory, King of the Hill, How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, and whatever catches my interest while I'm channel surfing:-)
What ''Scrubs'' Character are you?
J.D. Your live in a world of your own. People often have trouble relating to your silliness but evryone loves you anyway. You can be serious when the time calls for it but over all your just a silly person!
Television-Movies Quizzes
I don't read too awfully much, but I've been trying to get through "The DaVinci Code" by Dan Brown...I rarely spend time at Barnes & Noble to finish it. Yeah, I could buy it, but don't really want to!
One of my biggest heroes is my mother. She is the strongest person I know. She has battled and survived diabetes, cancer, heart attack and a major stroke. She has the most fight to live in her that I've seen in anyone, and I just hope I got a little bit of it.Jesus is another hero of mine, and yeah, I know a lot of people say this. He gave the ultimate sacrifice: His life, so that we could live forever. He died a human death and went through Hell so that no one else would have to. I'm not going to push my beliefs on anyone, that's not my style, but wouldn't it be kinda cool if everyone, including those who claim to be Christian, were like Christ (to be Christian, after all, is to literally to "be like Christ")? Maybe then we wouldn't have to deal with high gas prices and terrorism, eh??? Just a thought...
