I never seem to be able to discern my own limits, but that usually causes more excitement than trouble... I look tough, but I never hurt anything except for the occasional feeling... I'm an optimist and can usually laugh in the face of misfortune... I have no fucking shame... I often sing in the shower... I would probably be living in Kuala Lumpur if I hadn't crashed a motorcycle into a Buddhist temple on my last night in Asia... I have more confidence than someone of my ability should rightly possess... I daydream way too much... I need to travel like I need air... I am engaged in a constant battle against boredom, and I'm winning (that sounds really pretentious doesn't it, oh well...fuck it)Basically, if I had to sum up the infinite subtleties, intricacies, and complexities that make up the tightly woven fabric that is my being into one statement... "NEAT!"

Now when most people say that, they're usually full of shit, but I'm serious as a nuclear holocaust...so if you like it, I probably like it too* *Does not pertain to soulless corporate garbage or "too hip for your own good" malarkey, but that should be a given ;) I can play 4' 33" on six different instruments...

Television:

How could Arrested Development be taken off the air due to lack of interest, while American Idol has stellar ratings after nearly a decade? How can we claim to be the "Greatest Country on Earth" when the lowest common denominator always wins out?

All the same books that neo-hipsters tell you they read to make them appear smart, even though intellectuals find them boringâ€¦

Annular conjecture regarding jellyfish...

I was thinking today...I wonder if jellyfish ever have anything close to a coherent thought...I mean, they don't seem to have any organs, you can see right through them, yet they react to outside stim...
