Okay, about me....
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii but for some reason my parents decided I would have better childhood experience growing up in Detroit!?!?!? I have come to the conclusion that this tramatic experience has been the reason that I have become the freak that I am today.
Some people have told me that being born in the Pacific somehow "asian-fied" me. I don't know. But can you find another white boy who has not only Soy, but Oyster AND Fish sauce floating around in the kitchen? Favorite sushi is BBQ'ed Eel. Yes, Eel.
If I'm not being an idiot on a mic somewhere, You'll find me at a golf course. Grandpa taught me the game when I was 10, and been sick with it ever since.
If I'm not on the course, I'm in front of the TV watching any hockey game I can find! That was one of the good things growing up in Michigan. Now if you see someone walking around the Gulf Coast wearing a hockey jersey, it's probably me. I got 30 of them!

I've spent most of my life in the radio business. I figured after high school it was my best ticket to get out of the snow. I was blessed to work at some great stations in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Kalamazoo(yes, it's a real city), and Detroit, Michigan before getting my wish and heading south to where I want to call home for a long time in Mobile. After Hurricane Ivan I got transfered to Kansas City but after that went to crap for whatever reason I needed to come back to the Gulf Coast. I told myself I was done being a DJ and I was going to go back to school and get my Meteorology(weather) degree from So. Alabama. Then my phone rang. I've been friends with the crew at 97-5 WABB for a long time. They needed me to step in and help out "just on a temporary basis". That was a few months ago. Now here I am officially "UN-retired" and so geeked to be hanging out every afternoon on 97-5 WABB!!
Don't be affraid about being a geek or feeling weird about calling! 438-97FM or 800-678-97FM! I'm never too busy to talk!! So holla at a cracka!!!

I'm into everything really. If you're ever in the car with me, I'll go from New Edition to System of a Down in under two minutes. I listen to everything in between. From Alternative, House, Electronica, R&B, Rock, country, jazz, pop, hip-hop, etc. you name it- I probably have at least a couple CDs that fit. I'm a big fan of QUALITY undiscovered and/or local bands! If I feel what you're doing, I'll add ya! But if you're just starting out or have no clue? Don't waste my time and you should stay in school.

Movies:

Caddyshack, Scarface, Old School, Pulp Fiction, Anything with Ben Stiller, Anything Kevin Smith, anything Will Ferrell(except Bewitched-what a p.o.s.), Beerfest, Borat, X-Men trilogy, Finding Nemo, Star Wars(all of them-yes, I'm a geek!), Lilo & Stitch, Open Season, Unfaithful(Diane Lane...damn she's hot)Over the Hedge, Bad Boys (I & II), Pretty In Pink, Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Ocean's Eleven & Twelve, Porky's, Matrix trilogy, John Woo's The Assasian, Dazed and Confused, Higher Learning, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Clueless, Stripes, Full Metal Jacket, Transformers(waiting for a sequel!), Snatch, American Pie I & II (3 kinda sucked), Feris Beuller, Slapshot, Lord of the Rings trilogy, John C. Holmes & Ron Jeremy were under-rated actors, Eurotrip, Purple Rain, Fight Club, Blow, Private Ryan. There's a bunch more. I'll think of them later.

Television:

Lost, Law & Order-SVU, Cambodian and Vietnamese karaoke DVDs, Iron Chef is freakin addicting! Both the Japanese and the U.S. versions. Ninja Warrior on G4 is CRAZY! All the CSI's, Scrubs, Family Guy, Yes, a guy who actually liked Sex in the City(it's just not as funny on TBS), Sopranos(R.I.P.), Seinfield re-runs, as much as I try, I can't turn away from American Idol, ever see Drawn Together on Comedy Central? Gawd I hope they make more episodes! I try to stay away from reality shows as much as possible.
