About Me

My name is Rida-Daniel Abda. I was born in Canada on November 05, 1987, and I am 19 years old. I have lived in the United States my whole life, although I have traveled to many different countries and learned many languages along the way.I am about 5'9, but maybe 5'10, and I weigh about 145 right now. I am thin, but very athletic. I'm Caucasian, I have blue eyes, and blond hair.I am a calm person. Very nice and friendly. I'm open to new people and love to discuss culture with everyone. I'm especially fond of meeting people from outside the United States. Especially people who speak different languages. I currently speak Spanish, English, very little French, and am in the process of learning Japanese. I once spoke Arabic, but not anymore. I am willing to meet anyone with the intention of building a long-lasting friendship.As far as school is concerned, I currently attend the University of California, at Davis. For people who live outside the United States, it is to the very West. I am a first year, and will graduate in 2010 or 2011, depending on how my major in Computer Science goes. My last year, I will Study Abroad in Japan, for one year. After that, although I'm still not sure, I will apply to go to Tokyo Institute of Technology for graduate school and live as a permanent resident in Japan.If you would like to know more about me, or would like to be friends, please send me a message so I can get to know you first. My Interests

I love playing sports and meeting new people. I like to learn new languages...right now, I'm trying to learn Japanese although I think I need help. ^ ^ I used to travel alot, but now I think I want to take it easy for a little bit. My main interest is living in Japan one day to attend graduate school for my major, so I am trying to learn all of the ettiquete and customs everyone goes by.

Music:

I love instrumental music. It helps me stay clam and relax all day. I don't like to feel very stressful, so I like thinking of hot springs and the beach while listening to the music. Movies:

I like to stay happy, so I watch alot of comedies. I like action sometimes, especially movies that are made by Jackie Chan or Jet Lee. I don't mind romance at all, but I don't think there are that many romance movies out nowadays. I am not really a fan of horror movies, but I will watch it with friends. Not alone. ^ ^

Television:

I don't watch Television. I am not the kind of person who sits at home and wastes the day watching TV. I like to go out and have fun. New experiences...and learning new things..that's what I am all about.

Books:

I used to only read Fiction. Now I have become more interested in Manga, although I do not really consider this to be a book. I like the art-work, and I find that some of the stories can be more entertaining than actual fiction/non-fiction books. Especially the romance genre.

Heroes:

I don't think I have a heroe. I'm just glad that I'm not alone in the world and that there are many people to meet. I think that fact alone is enough.
