I have no qualms about meeting new people, but I do have certain things I look for. A healthy, if not quirky sense of humor is the best attribute a person can have. I have no tolerance for liars, immaturity, disrespect. I have no labels to put on myself and I don't put them on others. Be real, be you and we will get along just fine. I am a true Gemini in every sense of the word ... lol ! I totally exacerbate the very meaning of " double personalities " I am very diverse in my humor and my attitude. I have a strong belief in the fact that a healthy sense of humor and a positive outlook can fix anything. I also believe that you never should judge a book by its cover ~ open the book and read it ! Everyone has different opinions and don't knock someone who may have one that differs from yours. Never try to impune your own beliefs and or opinions on anyone ~ keep an open mind and you just might be able to see the other side of the coin.

If I have requested you, then obviously I have read about you and found something interesting enough to want to know you better. If you make an effort, I will make an effort. If my tastes in music, artwork, books, etc., do not appeal to you, then so be it. Please refer to above statement and understand that I am a person like you and I am not here to be judged on my tastes or views. Yes, I must admit I am a 80's metal lover !!! Headbangers ball w/ all the hair bands was and still is awesome ! I love it !! All the " hair bands " ~ Skid Row, Metallica, Dokken, Motley Crue, Poison, Iron Maiden ( I was a teenager in the 80's and I loved it ! )The tight jeans and black suede jackets with the fringe and the many cans of Aqua Net * Lol ~ I love that time in music !! I fuckin adore Nikki Sixx and Sabastian Bach, goregous !! Now I have a 12 year old son who has made it his personal mission to get his Mother into the 21st century music... lol, so I listen to Pantera, honestly, I liked them way before I had kids. I am open as far as music is concerned * Slipknot and Marilyn Manson, Lacuna Coil, Dimmu Borgir, Type O Negative, Society 1, Collide, Drowing Pool, Godsmack, Evanesence, White Zombie, Tool, Mushroomhead and Korn and Kittie with my son ( lol ) I encourage my children to find their own nitches in life, so I have an opened my mind to the music he listens too. I have found some great music on here and I will be posting them on here for my friends to see and listen to them. Have an open mind and give it a try ! They f*ckin ROCK !!!

Laurell K. Hamiltons Anita Blake series, Da Vinci Code, any Ann Rule true crime novels, Marilyn Monroe Biography, any book pertaining to the Civil War ... yes my hubby has turned me into a bookworm ( lol ) I like some history books, depending on the time period in question. I have come across an author that is running a close second to my favorite ( Hamilton ) Jeanne Kalogridis. Her books on The Family Dracul * Covenant With The Vampire, Children of the Vampire, Lord of the Vampire has to be one of the best trilogies I have ever read. I do not however only read Vamp books, my taste are diverse in this as well.
I would have to say my husband is MY hero ! He affords me the luxury of staying home and raising our children. I have been with them since the second they were born and love that I was able to be a constant fixture in their lives. I know that the nuclear family is a thing of the past and most families need 2 incomes to live ~ that is why my husband is my hero ... he works hard and misses out on alot pertaining to the children, but he knows how I feel about being a stay at home Mom and how important it is to me to be here with them. People may think that I am incapable of getting a job or that I am lazy or even IQ challenged, but that is far from the truth. My children come first, then a possible career for me. So all that being said ~ Steve is my hero ! No one can ever take his place. I love him more then mere words can express. He has opened my eyes to a great many things and shown me how to love and how to recieve love in return. He is my rock, my life, my heart ! My days and nights begin and end with the thought of this wonderful man who has made my life something I now treasure.
