We Are Addcited To Venus!
Addicted To Venus is a young indie rock band from Manila, Philippines. The band was formed late December of 2005 thorugh the help of mutual friends. The band is currently composed of Joaquin Medina on vocals, Gino delos Reyes on guitars, Neilsen Sagenes on bass and Nelson Abacan on drums, which is the very same lineup they had since day one with the exception of Joaquin, also the lead singer of the band Grim has replaced Elliot as the lead singer for Addicted To Venus.
The band’s sound is attributed to differences in their individual tastes in music. Combining elements from genres such as punk, rock, alternative, blues and even metal, the band came up with a sound that could be called their own. ATV’s emotionally charged songs, pummeling drum beats, moving basslines and guitar driven songs strives to move and inspire listeners. Audiences are also up for an electrifying show when they come to see ATV on their live sets.
