Johnny Watbone & the 3 Wishes

You will not be able to get enough of That Ass

About Me

MyGen Profile Generator
This is the story of JT MD, the Captain Chas, Maniacal MB, and Johnny Watbone, four friends from Davidson College who had graduated onto separate lives and careers, but not before planting the seeds of musical greatness that would take nearly 5 years to cultivate.
When chance and fate conspired to see the former college roommates matriculate to the same graduate school, medical student extraordinaire JT MD and the political scientist and aspiring world dictator Maniacal MB became roommates once again after a three year hiatus.
JT MD and the Captain Chas had just finished recording the debut album for their band, the Scooter Pirates, and were mired in the musical throes of post production. In mortal danger of taking himself much too seriously, JT was harangued at every step of the mixing process by the Maniacal MB. The future of JT MD's sense of humor looked bleak, and just when tensions were at their crescendo, in strode the smooth-voiced super-cali-playa-listic Johnny Watbone.
With thematic inspiration from several cans of Boddingtons Pub Ale and the twisted mind of the Maniacal MB, the trio wrote "That Ass" in a flurry of brilliance that called to mind the heady times of Einstein's early work on relativity mixed with Jimi Hendrix's recording of Electric Ladyland. The song was recorded later that night on JT MD's home studio rig, and the Captain Chas was summoned to fill in the bottom end with his booty-quakin' bass skills. Thus, Johnny Watbone & the 3 Wishes were born.
