About Me

To start, I'm very interested & dedicated to health and nutrition. Because of my past as a fat bastard, it's triggered this 180 turn in my life. One of my greatest qualities is that I've learned to be accepting & respectful to everyone without prejudgment. I believe this comes mostly from the way others looked at me when I was overweight and me not wanting to put others in that position, but also being in a diverse major in college. Being able to put myself in someone else's shoes to see why they do what they do really helps me to understand life.I am a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer), but don't do it as a career. Not sure now is right time to pursue it, but always good to show I have that knowledge.Love to see new places and do new things, although sometimes my schedule keeps me from that. I've learned is that if you don't enjoy what you're doing, there are always paths to change it.Right now I get to travel locally for my job as a sales engineer. It's cool to see bordering areas to DC. It's like you can drive 2 to 3 hours and be in a different world...like NJ's craziness or West Virginia's southern / family like feel (hmmm, probably b/c everyone there is related).

My Interests

TERPS and RAVENS sports! Fitness & Nutrition, learning how the body actually works, traveling, movies, bars, not so much clubs anymore.

I'd like to meet:

People who care about their health and look to improve themselves whether physically or other. It's rare to find people who are into body construction as opposed to destruction.

Music:

Hip hop fan especially southern recently, like Houston, the NO, Memphis and Florida! Then everything else, like jack johnson, lifehouse, rock, pop even...not country really...that's where I draw the line

Movies:

I basically watch anything since I have blockbuster.com, but my fav alltime movie is probably Dumb and Dumber...stupid comedies, dramas, chick flicks...uh, i mean HEAVY ACTION MOVIES

Television:

24, Last Comic Standing, Halfway Home, Sarah Silverman Show, Family Guy, Lucky Louie, Smallville, and some of the dumb reality TV out there!

Books:

Tom Venuto's book "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle" I think it's the only book I've ever read beginning to end and continue to reference it. As for other books, don't read too much.

Heroes:

In a hero, you should want someone who has an ideal that you hope to achieve...so...Anyone who is constantly motivated to set goals, complete them, and more importantly push even further to the next, more challenging goal...I admire anybody who can accept who they are in every way.

My Blog

I hate blogs, just b/c of the name "blog", but here it goes!

So my new job has me traveling all over the east coast, in warm weather areas.  And I realize...some people have never experienced temperatures less than 50 degrees.  In Orlando, it was 80 d...
