Flobots

Denver Local...

I've talked a lot about music in the past, and it's been a damn long time since I updated my profile with something worthwhile. I've been a HUGE supporter/fan of local music since first moving from G-town to D-town, and getting behind the Flobots was a simple choice. Fantastic sounds, beats and emcee's making music for a cause. There's nothing I can really say about the Flotbots, because listening ot their music is truly something you need to experience for yourself.

As a last note on the topic, I want to give a big congrats to band, as they signed with Universal Republic near the end of last month and are now getting attention on the national level. All the support and attention they are getting is well deserved, and they've earned it.

Movies:

I've seen far to many good movies in my life to rank all of them by number, but I can give you a pretty good idea of what I like...

Any truly good horror film.
Any completely low-brow (sack punching, face hitting, etc..) comedy.
The occasional classic drama (something like The Shawshank Redemption).

I've got a couple that I have to list that would most definatly be in my top 5 movies if I were able to rank them all.
