I enjoy most kinds of music, although I am not fond of Rap, Opera or Country. Favorites are Sting, Elton John, Carly Simon, Rob Thomas, Kris Kristofferson. I am also really enjoying Latin music and wish I spoke the language.
Almost anything that is a period piece with costumes. Romances, comedies, Mel Brooks and Kevin Smith movies being particular favorites.
Not much on TV worth watching.
Stories with strong characters, believable stories. Some favorite authors are Isabel Allende, Jasper Fforde, Jane Austen, Alexander McCall-Smith and a host of others. Books I still love to re-read; Harry Potter, all of them, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Good Earth and To Kill a Mockingbird.
I don't think there are many true heroes in the world, and if there, you don't really hear about them.
