hey everyone,

i just wanted to round up the latest news and gossip on the james hall front.

* first of all, if you're not aware then there is a new myspace group for fans of james hall, michael jerome and pleasure club. it can be found at http://groups.myspace.com/jameshallfans

* a podcast hosted by billy morrison and dave navarro, which features an interview with james can be found at http://www.billymorrison.net/Podcasts/Podcasts.html look down the page, somewhere near the bottom. it's from the 'camp freddy' radio show. it was taped on the weekend on the viper room shows (september 15th and 16th). it's quite a big download but well worth checking out.

* check out the gallery page on the james hall fansite . i've added some pics from the viper room shows. pics were taken by greg raspet.

* i just added a page on the fansite with a few james hall movies. check it out here . it includes the three studio video diaries and a clip of james performing the song 'damaged' from the movie 'the last record store'. endless gratitude to jeff liles , creator of 'the last record store' for providing this gem.

* there is a new article about james in the tripwire online magazine. it gives thanks and praise to the pleasure club and talks a little about the new james hall album. check it out here .

oh, and the james hall myspace page has been revamped. check it out.

i think that just about covers the latest. be sure to join the myspace group, and feel free to join in the discussions, even if it's just to say "hello".

scott walker! listen to everything he's ever done.
i recommend starting with the 'boy child' greatest hits
album. genius!

every once in a while you find a hidden gem

'mr. lewis and the funeral 5' , who you just
have to hear - great, great band.
