About Me

Bob Rokos has been doing stuff now for a long time. His first song was called "Big Hairy Ape" written for voice and badminton racket when he was only six years old! Then a bout with asthma nearly ended his musical journey as quickly as it started. It wasn't until he came back with vengeance with "ANTS!" in the 80's. This song was a turning point in Bob's musical career for it was the first time Bob recorded something on tape and it is still manages to be popular amongst two of his friends even to this day. He was then (or maybe still is) in the band Glassheads. You might remember the Glassheads hit's "Rocket Action" (performed in Doug's basement) or "My Dad is Texas" (performed at No Shame Theatre-Iowa). Bob is always writing music because if he doesn't he will go crazy. For years Bob would make albums for his friends and then one thing led to another and he became the resident sound designer for Trap Door Theatre in Chicago. Then some more things led to another and he ended up writing the music for the motion picture "Kwik Stop". Today Bob lives in Los Angeles and he still writes music trying not to go crazy.
