DR SEBASTIAN BARNARD, CLINCAL PSYCHOLOGIST: "Hello, I have been working on Benji's case for some time now and his story is a very tragic one. Benji is a mong. He was kept inside a cupboard for 28 years by his rather cruel parents, the only affection he had was from his cat, Colin, whom Benji killed by accident. Benji knew little about the real world when I found him and I have been working on a program that helps him interact with other people and learn about the world and society, bit by bit. Benji has been doing incredibly well and as part of his therapy, he records his thoughts that week, set to a musical backing. You can hear some of these aural diaries of Benji's on this site.
