Pastor Lorenzo T. Neal is a native of Monroe, LA. He attended the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff where he received a B.S. in Music Performance. He attended Jackson Theological Seminary and completed the Master of Divinity degree. He is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas-Little Rock with a M.A. Degree in Liberal Studies Program with an emphasis in Music and Technical and Professional Writing. In 2003, Pastor Neal was honored with an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Grace Valley Theological Seminary of Lubbock, TX. for his contributions to the field of theological education and systematic theology.In July of 2000, he founded the Rose of Sharon Foundation,Inc. This non-profit organization was dedicated to community development through the development of its people based on four principles of empowerment: Knowing, Being, Doing, and Impacting. In 2004, he along with a partner founded and incorporated Zera Publishing Co., LLC for consulting and partnersing with aspiring authors to assist in self-publishing.He has been in the ministry for over 17 years and has served at Baptist, AME, non-denominational, and Apostolic churches. He began ministry at the Riverside Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe, LA under the pastorate of Rev. C.R. Jackson, Sr.He is in my third year as pastor of the Tyree Temple AME Church of Dumas, AR where he is inspiring his members to "Discover the Possibilities of What Could Be." . He has served as pastor of the Palestine AME Church in Pickens, AR., Mt. Zion AME Church in Pine Bluff, and asst./youth pastor at St. John under Rev. Dr. W.R. Norful, Sr. and Shady Grove AME Churches under the late Rev. Mack Henry Talley. He was also the assistant minister and youth pastor at Family Time Ministries under Pastor Micheal E. Williams and Christian Fellowship Baptist Church under Pastor R.J. Lightsey, II.I am an educated, spiritual, and very down to earth young man. I have success on my mind and believe in helping others do the same with the help of God. I am also a proud music educator in Louisiana (band director) and just trying to live a life pleasing to God.
