IS IT EVEN WORTH MENTIONING THAT THE SONGS WE'VE GOT UP ON MY SPACE REALLY HAVE NO BEARING ON WHAT WE ACTUALLY SOUND LIKE? WE JUST HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO RECORD ANYTHING YET.

BBC NOTTINGHAM INTERVIEW:
Punch HERE!
Heteroglossia - Live @ The Mill, Mansfield
What kind people have said about us:
"Their recent show with Hadouken! proved that their Beastie Boys via the Human League electro grime is here to shake things up. Anyone not taking them seriously does so at their own risk."
- Drowned In Sound
"Yo Chomsky! will help re-write Nottingham’s grim metal legacy and turn it into the city of smart electro pop wonder."
- BBC Nottingham
"A surreptitious dance troupe - Nottingham's boldest project yet."
- NME
"Everyone's Talking About... local discordant exclamation abusers Yo Chomsky!"
- NME
"With a myriad mix of lyrical intellect, shameless showmanship and creative tune-craft, surely a bigger stage is on the hype-funk horizon for their anarchic antics to explode upon."
- Leftlion
"keep your ears open because pop is cool again."
- eGigs.co.uk
"A lot of fun".
- Pete Robinson of Pop Justice
"Part Keats, part Klaxons... Their gigs are a disco ball of colour, headbands and crowd surfing. The songs display a sense of humour and intellectualism that may just bring Rabble Pop to Guardian readers."
- Impact Magazine
"Yo Chomsky? If they're playing a party, I'll come!".
- Adam Longworth on Xfm.
"that's the twattiest band name i have heard in my entire life, the bloke is a bit of a knocker.."
- A review of our first gig by a geek on an internet forum
LISTEN UP PEOPLE!!!
In Summer 2006 a search party was recruited to pillage the shires, seeking out the latest and greatest in musical talent. Their aim? Fulfill the Yo Chomsky! vision of Perfect dancefloor synthesis.
After a huge response and the players found, the newly inaugaurated Yo Chomsky! went to a secret location to plunder their imaginations and prepare for their impending musical overhaul.
Their first mission? To be playing live for YOU by Christmas 06. It was a tall order, but they did it.
Who knows where it goes from here...
