Endless summer...

That fatally flawed dance called life...

About Me

Still waiting for the rain, that welcome relief from the burning sun. Parched lips yearning for the cool caress of water, I turn my face towards the cloudless sky, so bright... so empty. This quest seems without end, without hope, and yet it seems I cannot give up. I have almost forgotten what I am looking for, unsure whether it will fill the emptiness inside. I see a world without colour, through blood shot eyes. The journey seems never ending....

My Interests

where to start... there is so much.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow seekers and travellers, those who have not found the way home, people who value a stranger's smile. Lets walk a liitle of the way together. Des gens heureux, des companions de comptoirs, des ames qui aiment s'exprimer sur tout et de n'importe quelle facon, hors norme ou dans les normes, des poetes de la vie, des gens en quete de l'absolu.

Music:

broad range, but in terms of recent artists Camille, Thomas Fersen in french Music and bands such Muse, Placebo, Franz Fredinand and Pulp, artic monkeys, the knife. I am also into classical music, usual stuff, Mozart etc Got to mention Pink Martini, Evanescence

Movies:

well, all kind, from the french arty stuff to the blockbuster. Great fan of Amoldovar, particularly his last one. Also really enjoyed Lord Of War with Nicolas Cage (back to his best... at last), an eye opener to the hypocrisy of our modern western society. Recently the last king of Scotland, Bobby

Television:

not too much into TV right now, I don´t even own a set at the moment but in the past, I really enjoyed british clasics such as Blackadder and Have I got news for you... Sitcoms amuse me but I tend to loose interest. Steven Fry and Hugh Laurie are awsome in Jeeves and Wooster, delightful comedy.

Books:

all kinds really but at the moment drifting towards historical ones, fiction and non fiction... Great fan of Ian M Banks, Ian McEwan (Saturday is brilliant), Philip Roth, Romain Gary, Phillipe Djian, Le Clezio .I also love David Eddings although his latest novels are a bit disapointing. Great fan of Guy Gavriel Kay. I also like Ben Elton although his writing is sometimes poor, Colleen McCullough is excellent.
