Most Books are Movie Related So be Warned, and I also consider Comics and graphic Novels to be just as relivant as a "novel": Requiem for a Dream, Last Exit Brooklyn (Hubert Selby Jr) American Psycho, Lunar Park, Less Than Zero, Rules of Attraction (Bret Easton Ellis) Layer Cake (J.J Connely), Fight Club, Survivor, Choke, Diary, Invisable Monsters (Chuck Palahniuk), Cal MacDonald Mysteries, 30 Days of Night, (Steve Niles), Sin City (Frank Miller), Transmetropolitan, Dark Blue (Warren Ellis), Altered Carbon (Richard Morgan), Pattern Recognition, Neuromeancer (William Gibson)... and lots of text books on directing and shot composition and books on how to use certian programs and pieces of equiptment for without them I'd not have a clue what to do.
Batman, Superman, Spiderman... hell they are out there every damn day saving the world... and we don't even thank them.
