There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.-Revelation 21:4It's not merely that heaven will be wonderful in spite of our anguish; it will be wonderful because of it. Suffering serves us. A faithful response to affliction accrues a weight of glory. A bounteous reward. God has every intention of rewarding our endurance. Why else would he meticulously chronicle every one of your tears? "Record my lament; list my tears on your scroll-are they not your record?" (Psalm 56:8)Every tear you've cried will be redeemed. God will give you indescribable glory for your grief. Not with a general wave of the hand, but in a considered and specific way. Each tear has been listed; each will be recompensed. We know how valuable our tears are in his sight-when Mary anointed Jesus with the valuable perfume, it was her tears with which she washed his feet that moved him most powerfully (Luke 7:44). The worth of our weeping is underscored again in today's verse, "he will wipe every tear from their eyes." It won't be the duty of angels or others. It will be God's.I read this today and thought it would help. I'm having a rough time man and there's only one place to turn. I need to turn to God so much more.Love you, Steve
.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..Zachary Paul Harder June 2, 1984 – June 10, 2006Zack was born on June 2, 1984, in Sacramento, California, the youngest child of Ron & Chris Harder. He was a life long resident of Roseville. He loved and appreciated each member of his family. His siblings, Malinda, Tim & Steve, were just as involved in raising and caring for him as were his parents. Zack also loved sisters-in-law Keri and Deondra and his brother-in-law, Tracy, and his 2 nephews, Erik and Ephraim, and 3 nieces, Gabby, Lizzy, and Eva. He is also survived by his grandfather, Floyd Newhall, and grandmother Merle Harder. He has many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him. His grandmother, Ann Newhall, and grandfather, Glen Harder, preceded him to Heaven.Zack attended Creekside Church with his family. It was through Creekside’s youth ministry that he confirmed his belief in Jesus as his personal Savior. His many friends, both young and old, were very important to him. He brightened everyone’s day with his love of life, humor and quick wit. He entertained many with his funny costumes which illustrated his love for having a good time. He also loved music and once said, “Music defines who you are.”Zack attended schools in the Roseville School District, graduating from Roseville High School in 2003.Soccer was Zack’s favorite sport, wearing his first soccer cleats when he was only five years old. He played soccer through his Junior year of high school. Although he could no longer play due to breaking his leg during the summer of 2002, he cheered his team on from the sidelines. He didn’t necessarily like to work, but he did enjoy spending money, which he earned beginning at age 10 as a carrier for the Roseville Press Tribune. From age 16, he held various positions and finally found his nitch in retail sales.Sadly, Zack was taken from us suddenly on June 10, 2006, due to a tragic accident at the South Fork of the Yuba River in Nevada County, California. He now resides in his eternal home with Jesus in Heaven. We will love and remember him always. Love, MomMy Mom and Jared consoling eachother at the site where Zack was taken from us. The strength of my parents througout this has been amazing. Their faith in Jesus Christ has been like a beam of light in a world of darkness. I know Zack is proud of Mom and Dad.

I'M FREE Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took God's hand when I heard the call; I turned my back and left it all.I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that place at the close of day.If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My lifes been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me- Now I know pure joy because God set me free.
