About Me

I'm Chip. I like to sing. I like to act the fool. Sometimes people watch when I do this. Sometimes I do it by myself. Sometimes people pay me to do it! Sometimes people record me doing it and then listen back to it later. Sometimes people photograph or videotape me doing it and then splice them all together and display them in the dark. Sometimes people like when I do it, and sometimes they don't - sometimes they laugh at me when I do it and it's a good thing, and sometimes they don't laugh and it's bad...and then vice versa. Depends on what I'm doing at the time. But if there's ever a situation when either of those two things need to be done - singin' or acting the fool - I prefer to be the one to do it. I mean rather than not do it, or leave it to someone else to do, I'm just saying that I'd prefer to handle it myself. Thanks.

My Interests

Walking, talking, singing, watching, waiting.

I'd like to meet:

I wanna meet everybody...some people twice...some maybe even three or four times.

Music:

I know a good song when I hear one. I like to listen to people sing songs that they wrote themselves.

Movies:

Been a lover of movies all my life.

Television:

Fascinated by it, sat way too close to it as a child, and can, to this day, watch it without guilt or embarrassment for as long as I goddamn well want to. Baseball on TV guarantees me at least some degree of happiness for as long as they play and televise Major League Baseball.

Books:

I've read a lot of books and often don't remember the details, or specific lines - but I absorb the words and the characters and the feeeeling of it...and once you read a book it becomes part of who you are. I feel sorry for people who don't read. It doesn't take as long as you think and can be quite relaxing. Think of it this way: Two or three hours from now you could go from being a person who hasn't read Steinbeck's "The Red Pony" to someone who HAS.

Heroes:

My Mom and Dad, JFK, RFK, Vietnam Vets, Carl Yastrzemski, the 4 year old me.
